Call for Application: Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship 2026

General Outline:

        The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to study in Japan. If you wish to apply for this scholarship, please read the application guidelines carefully before preparing your documentation.
 

Application Procedure:

        Please read the application guidelines carefully and submit the required documents to the Embassy (Rruga e Kavajes, Nd.50, H1, Codi Postar 1023, Tirana). The guidelines and application forms can be found at the following websites:

Important Notes:

• All required documents must be submitted in English or with an official English translation to the Embassy.
• Late submissions will not be considered, regardless of the reason.
• Incomplete applications and missing required documents will not be considered.
• Submitted application forms and documents will not be returned.

Application Schedule:

• Application Deadline: 30 May 2025
• Exams and Interview: Mid-June 2025
• Results of Primary Screening: End-June 2025
• Second Screening: TBD
• Final Results with Placement: Jan - Feb 2026
• Departure for Japan: April 2026/ September 2026

        We will be conducting an online information session to provide detailed information about the MEXT Scholarship Program. Below are the details:
