Book Donation Ceremony at the "Marin Barleti" public library of Shkodër

     On August 15, Ambassador Takada visited the “Marin Barleti” public library in the city of Shkodër and attended the donation ceremony of books provided by the “Nippon Foundation” and the “Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research” through the “READ JAPAN PROJECT”. With this donation, 150 Japan-related books written in English handed over to the “Marin Barleti” public library. Ambassador Takada, in his remarks, expressed his hope that the students and citizens of the city of Shkodër would gain a more comprehensive understanding of Japan through the books. The responsible of the library, Mrs. Magdalena Haxhi thanked for the generous donation to the library and expressed her desire for further cultural exchange between the two countries in the future.
